This place is gross and disgusting!!! Please don't waste you time, effort or money!!! It's a black, scary place, where no one stays because they know better. If I could have given it no stars, I would. I don't know how anyone could say that their stay was excellent when the room we stayed in was a dark freezer when I walked in and it took me two minutes of cursing before I could try to find a light switch on a lamp, in the dark, and not kill myself!!! There's black mold in the shower, the clothing rack is falling off and the place it scary filthy. Stay Away!!!
My grandfather needed to stay their during travel. He needed a room accessible for a handicapped person. Lady stated basically to bad and stuck him on second floor. Was kinda rude and basically had the take what you can get attitude.
We gave this hotel a second chance. We stayed in April 2017 and October 2017. Both times sheets were stained. Disgusting. Floors were gross. And our shower backed up with inches of standing water. Nothing like showering with 100 other people. We will never stay again. Thanks but no thanks.
We brought our kids here for a weekend getaway close to the beach. We chose it because they offer breakfast, a pool, & have a fridge in the room but were priced good compared to surrounding hotels. We were upset to find out the pool was down for maintenance during our stay. They were very accommodating because of the issue. If your not looking for anything fancy but has all the amenities you will need away from home then this is the place to stay.
Had to be in Charleston for business , and My Daughter and I needed a place to stay. It was late, but we lucked up on this 'gem' Clarion. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. had a small refrig and microwave. and a full breakfast. The sausage, bacon and eggs were delicious. They were lots of different things to eat! We will be back toward end of September and will be staying here again. Great Service.
