Heater was non-functional and only blew cold air which wouldn't have been bad if it wasn't 30 degrees outside. Bathroom floor was a little dirty and a washcloth was dirty. The bed was decent. The staff was extremely nice.
This hotel is in a very good location. It's a little older hotel. But everything is functioning perfectly. The staff are incredible. They are helpful and friendly. The building is clean the beds are clean and comfortable. I felt very safe and secure.
Breakfast was good and the lady who looks after the breakfast items is a real GEM! It was a full hotel and she moved back and forth, making sure fresh eggs, sausage, biscuits, variety of bread, yogurt etc. was adequately replenished. She had a smile and "good morning" for everybody. Wish more hotel employees were like this lady !
Though the bed was clean and comfortable, the carpet was really dingy. I think even if the carper is cleaned very well, unless the guests take off their outdoor shoes at the door, it will get dirty very soon and I am not sure the hotel is able to enforce the shoe policy.
Great value for the price. They're $100 or more cheaper than the other places in the area. The hotel is clean, and you get hot breakfast with your stay. The cook at breakfast is very friendly and comes out to make sure that you have everything you need. She offered to keep breakfast out for us if we didn't come down in time. You'll be 10 minutes from Sullivan's Island, and about 15 from Isle of Palms. Patriot's Point and the Naval Museum are barely a 5 minute walk. Will stay again!
A very nice hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Excellent Breakfast. Friendly Staff. I was a little disappointed in the location. It is called Best Western Patriots Point, but it is not actually at Patriots Point. It is across the Highway from Patriots point. Not a big deal, still a nice location, but not Patriots point. Overall a very nice stay.
The room is very narrow and there was little space for the luggage. There was a micro fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. The bathroom is also small but it was OK for 1 night stay.
The hotel is very convenient to the Patriot point sightseeing. There are good restaurants within a few miles of the hotel.
