Couch covers in production for almost a year with no concern for their client. Slow to respond to emails and evade direct questions about timeline of when we can expect product.
My initial order took 6 weeks to be delivered.
I completely agree with the comment about the three ladies at the front desk. Truly unprofessional. Not one word said. The interior design staff did not say anything to me while I was walking through the store. I walked right out without anyone muttering a word. GDC lost a good sale.
Three employees made eye contact but not one hello or may I help you. I went to a designer and had her furnish my home on one condition ..... Nothing to be purchased from gdc. She told me that everyone in town has the same reaction and they have a reputation of being very very unfriendly. Ethan Allen and pottery barn were more than happy to help me furnish my new home .
Furniture is pricey, but that's not the issue. One star due to unfriendly, unhelpful staff.
Will add that the staff at fresh fields are much more helpful and very friendly, did purchase from them.
When it was delivered, it was damaged and the drivers wanted me to take possession because it was easier on them. I didnt. I called the store and they worked out a return and a shipment of a new piece. The new piece came in 3 weeks later and it was damaged too. Both pieces were delivered with no wrapping or protection. My customer service experience was awful and although the person that tried to help me was friendly over the phone, they were unresponsive as I had to consistently call and text to get a response. I went local thinking I'd get better service and I didn't. I will be doing my shopping elsewhere.
