I do not appreciate the Mt. Pleasant store attitude and will not shop there again. Unfortunate, because I do like their merchandise.
If you want furniture that is more natural and earthy then Celadon is the place to go - also, every piece feels sturdy and durable.
Great experience until I had to pay. Was served by the lady in the Camo jacket with dark hair. She was very distracted while checking me out holding two other conversations with other people in the store. She then asked me to bring her the item number from a ticket because she didn’t want to walk to the front window from the register. Then she put the bag up on the front counter between her and I so we could not see each other but she was still talking and having a discussion about a print on an item with another person. Found her very rude. Funny because she was exactly like this that last time I visited and she was the same girl who served me.
I enjoyed the people working the warehouse! Very friendly AND helpful, that is why they are receiving 2 stars instead of one.
Customer service is not their specialty! The first women who help me with my custom upholstery was super nice but was moving on in the next week. I ordered and waited and waited and waited. I knew it would be long but when I started to wonder I called (8 weeks later) and they acted as if I wasn't following their rules. She snapped at me about it being on back order and then found the chair had actually shipped. 2 weeks later I call because I hadn't been called, same attitude, like how dare you call us, we call you! But they hadn't and guess what my expensive chair was sitting at their warehouse.
Very pleasant store with tons of beautiful furnishings. I especially like the numerous wood cabinets and tables. The store is loaded with what I call casual elegance. Slip covered items are now 20% off. We're building a new home and will definitely furnish our home with some Caledon items.
