We could not have asked for a better company to transport our guests to and from the church and reception. I would recommend this company to all my friends.
My wife and I got married years ago, we understand the preparation, stress and money that goes into one day. Someone who works in the wedding industry should understand, and empathize with their clients. Talked with the event coordinator on the side to see what the owner had said to her and she basically told me she "didn't want to repeat it". Vendors talk, and I can assure you that all the vendors we worked with (and we loved every one of them) will make it a point to tell their future brides to NEVER use this service. IF YOU HAVE ANY IMPORTANT OR MEMORABLE FUNCTION, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
My girlfriend and I got to enjoy the Sip and See tour through Lowcountry Loop Trolley and the experience was phenomenal. If you are visiting Charleston, make this a tour to put on your list. The angel oak is a great sight to see!
I contacted Terry after the wedding twice, and never heard back. A partial refund was expected, but just an apology would have been better than nothing.
The second experience was not good. They replaced one trolley with a smaller closed bus. The bus driver hadn't driven in Charleston in years, he said. They did not follow the schedule we gave them and guests were left stranded at their hotels. When they called LLT, they were treated rudely.
We used Lowcountry Loop Trolley for one daughter's wedding in March 2013 and had a great experience, so decided to hire them again for my second daughter's wedding in October.
Terri at low country loop trolley breached our contract. She was so nice on the phone, but as soon as she got my money she acted as if I was wasting her time....we hired this company for our wedding. The contract stated a 60 person trolley they showed up 15 min late to the hotel with a 45 person trolley, they headed to a second hotel on the way back which was changed and confirmed two weeks prior as all the guests were only staying at the Francis Marion....so with that said half of our guests were stranded at the hotel and the only option was to take cabs....No apology. No refund. Even though she breached our contract...and I legally paid for a larger trolley and for a more extended period of time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR WEDDING.
