Worst move for the money I have ever had! Don’t know how these guys have a five star. The issues I experienced are the following:
2. My furniture is broken and scared terribly. Dining furniture, which has been previously moved many times, has never gotten so badly scratched and dented by any other mover. They mentioned that they didn’t have enough blankets. Their process of stacking the furniture in the trucks damaged the wooden legs of many of the chairs, the leather on one of the leather chairs as well as table tops. One side table was stacked in the storage room broken in two pieces. Since much of my furniture is stored while my home being constructed to be completed I am not even able to totally assess the complete damage to my furniture.
I hired Ready Set Movers to relocate our office from West Ashley to Mount Pleasant and they did a fantastic job! They moved all of our office furniture and then disposed of any old items we were not taking to our new office. It was definitely the easiest move I've ever done. Our employees simply packed their personal items and Ready Set Movers took care of everything else. Best of all their pricing is very competitive. These guys were very polite and professional. If you are looking for a moving company Ready Set Movers is the best choice!

As a "seasoned mover" at age 69 and over 35 years in residential real estate, I think I am qualified to make a respected recommendation for a moving company. Caleb and his crew were fantastic. They were referred to me by a friend and I have referred him on to my daughter who is a realtor. Her experience was fantastic and has referred Caleb on to her entire office. Do yourself a favor and use Ready Set Movers for a most pleasant experience. Katie Barber

1. They underestimated the job after doing a thorough walk through for their quote for a fairly typical three bedroom home. The day of the move they arrived with one medium size Uhaul type truck that no way could accommodate house contents. They had to bring a second truck and charged an additional $1500 for the move, putting the cost of the move more than $1000 over any other quote I received.

I highly recommend Ready Set Movers...they were very responsive, provided an accurate quote without additional "fees" added in, were on time and completely professional. The best overall moving experience, especially compared to the other movers I had contacted and interviewed
Basically, these guys do not have any regard for their customers or the items they move. They may be an OK choice for moving dormitory items or small moves. They are not equipped to handle complete household moves. They do not provide a professional moving service. Please be careful with this company. I would never use their moving services again. They should get a minus star considering the cost of repairing my furniture.
I can’t say enough about this company, Caleb & his crew are awesome. I highly recommend using them, will without a doubt use them again in the future & find myself telling anyone discussing a move, “you need to call Caleb!”. I looked at reviews online & came across Ready Set Move, repeatedly saw Caleb referenced & couldn’t find anyone with something negative to say! Contacted them via email, response 3 Min later, next day walk-through with an estimate & the final price was almost $500 less than the high end of the estimate. The price was very reasonable, but the level of professionalism was incredible and beyond appreciated!!! I could go on and on, but see for yourself, give them a call & take moving/movers off the list of potential headaches on that CRAZY move day!!!
