This theater is OK. I saw Bladerunner 2049 in theater 1. I felt like the speaker sound didn't surround the room. Not one time did I look back because of a sound effect or here sounds scrape off the side of the wall to the front of the screen. There were two marks on the screen that looks like they could of been cleaned off if someone was paying attention to the screen.
It is great and my favorite theatre I watch movies there all the time ps. Ya'll should watch the Greatest showman
Palmetto Grand has 16 smaller theaters inside the the large Pavillion. That allows us many mobies to choose from....I read a review, written by someone else, which stated, "it was run by a bunch of teenagers who do not care about customer service". I could not agree more. Unfortunately, the jobs at movie theaters, are low paying and the hours are crazy. So the majority of employees are teenagers.Teenagers can, absolutely be the best employees in a company, if they are clear from the begining, exactly what their job description is. They just need to know, what will or what won't, be tolerated.Demand better work from them and remove them if they can't comply. In addition, do not allow any employee to have their cell phone with them at work!!!!! Maybe then the quality of the theater will improve.
Went to see Despicable Me 3. We were in Theater 13 - absolutely disgusting. Smelled like animals at a zoo. My 6 year old daughter said "it smells like the elephant house". We had to wash our clothes when we got home it was so bad. Plus, popcorn everywhere. It clearly had not been cleaned between movies. We told the manager before the movie and they did nothing to resolve.
Other than that, this is definitely not one of the better theaters around Charleston.
Always clean. Great, comfortable seats. Nice selection of snacks.
