Terrible. They lost most of my clothes and completely lied about same day service. I'll never go again.

Do not take your stuff here. About 2 months ago my clothes came back to me smelling awful, like mothballs on steroids, and it took not one but 2 washes to get the stink out. They gave me credits so I continued to go and everything was fine, until last week when it happened again!! The smell is terrible you can’t wear them like that. Once they rewashed them and I went to pick them up, their manager Kelli said she hadn’t smelled them first to make sure they were clean before I returned to pick them up. You think they would check to make sure the issue has been corrected before putting them back on the rack. If you go here, you will be disappointed eventually. Go somewhere else
Perfect dry cleaning every time
This dry cleaner is the most unprofessional, inept operation I have ever used. My father in law gave them my clothes early Friday AM for same day service. He stressed that I needed the shirts back before I flew out for a business trip. They promised the shirts would be back by 5PM the same day. When I went to pick them up, they said that the shirts weren't back yet. They promised they would be ready by noon on Saturday. Noon came by and went and I called and they still didn't have them. I had offered to drive to the central plant in North Charleston to pick up them - ready or not. Richard - the clerk at this location - was as incompetent a dinasour as I have ever worked with. He was completely unapologetic. I called other locations - one of which told me that the same day service they offer is a complete SHAM - the owner askes the employees to push specials even though they cant necessarily fulfill them. I eventually went into the store after they told me they had my shirts. I go in and they only had one shirt of my four shirts. Only one of them. I asked about the other three shirts and they said they didn't know where they were. Richard refused to give the number of his manager. Throughout the whole ordeal, no one took any responsibility. Now, the dry cleaner said they will reimburse me for new shirts and the price of shipping my lost shirts when they find them. Let's see if they are capable of keeping that promise. If they follow through, I'll adjust this review. In the meantime, AVOID LYERLYS
Remarkably affordable pricing
The best cleaners in greater Charleston and here is why:
*Particularly important if you are new to the area - Since moving here two years ago I’ve come to a conclusion that I’ve discovered many other newcomers have as well..for the most part Charleston has only two types of cleaners: expensive cleaners and bad cleaners. The one exception is this location, where you are able to get the best quality cleaning at an affordable rate. No other cleaners matches Lyerly’s in this regard. I’m pretty finicky when it comes to dry cleaners; don’t trouble yourself with going through the same pains that I did. I must have gone to about 4 different locations in two years until I found this place. Go to Lyerly’s, you won’t regret it and I cannot recommend them enough!
I just moved to IOP from Atlanta and Lyerly's was recommended to me. I picked up my cleaning, which was nicely done and then got the price ... $2.82 for a man's shirt - the highest I ever paid in Atlanta was $1.25 or 230% of what I have been paying. I am now shopping for a good cleaner at a reasonable price.
