I have a 2015 Chevy Impala. It needed to be serviced because the check engine light came on and I wanted to immediately see about getting that taken care of. So, because I bought my car in another state from another dealership, I made an appointment via the app for Chevrolet customers. I made an appointment with Mt. Pleasant Chevrolet because my husband and I had done business with them before. I like them. I think that they are probably the best (service wise) in the Charleston area. This is where my experience first went left..--they called me and told me 2 days before my scheduled service that they can't check my check engine light because...well--they never explained why. Because it was never really that deep, I let it go and told the woman named Cindy on the phone that I would call her back with my schedule because I was told that they wouldn't be able to take my car for a week and a half.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Mt Pleasant Chevrolet GM John Thomas who contacted me and resolved the issue. The service department installed a new dash to my satisfaction and honored their original commitment. They are under new management and ownership and are working hard to win back customers who were dismissed by the prior team.

You will not get a better deal, or better customer service, than you will here at Mt Pleasant Chevy; I/We gaurantee it!!! Come and see for yourself... I/We hope to see you soon for all your vehicle needs; sales, service and parts.

How's this for honesty? I'm a salesperson here, and I'm telling you that at the beginning of my post. I guess that makes me a little bias, but "it is what it is."

So the next day rolls around and I get all of my schedules for the next few weeks and called back on my lunch break. I called the number that called me and the phone rang for a really long time. No answer. So then I looked online and called the number provided and followed the prompt to get to the right department. So I got an answer after a long period of time with the phone ringing and Cindy answered the phone again. First off, she sounded annoyed when she answered the phone but I proceeded to tell her what I needed and what I was trying to do. She sounded flustered and then told me that she would call me back. Sounding like she was somewhat in a rush to get me off of the phone, I gave her my work number and name. I got off of the phone and went back to work. It was her on the phone and my co-worker answered. We don't have a caller I.D. at work that will specifically let us know who is calling unless it is from an internal source. So when my co-worker answered, Cindy told her, "I'm going to have to call you back." then hung up on her. I called back a few minutes later to verify whether or not she called and all I said was, "Hey Cindy...It's Shaniqua calling from [insert work place here] and I just called a few minutes ago to make sure you had my work number. Did you just call? I was trying to make sure it was you." She then with a snappy attitude told me,"I'm at another desk and I did call but I'm trying to get back to my desk and do my job which is scheduling. I wrote myself a note." I was only trying to make sure. The point is, Cindy needs to fix her attitude. It's really not a way to do business. I didn't fill out her application. Nothing wrong with the dealership. Most people there are friendly. But...--I will warn you that some of the staff has an attitude and I will be speaking to management about that. I just didn't appreciate how any of this was handled.

I attached a photo of the used ROTORS they placed on my dash while they glued a really bad aftermarket cover to my dash. If you think this is acceptable, then go ahead and do business with these folks. For me, never again!!!

This has been the best experience with a dealership that I've had since moving to Charleston, SC. I'll be bringing our leased vehicle here for service vs the original dealership we've bought it from for now on. A genuine pleasure to deal with.

The staff was so friendly, and the service was SO fast! We got our car back very quickly, and everything was perfectly fixed! The cost was very reasonable too! Mount Pleasant Chevrolet is AMAZING!!!

If you plan on buying a vehicle from this dealership, please think again. I purchased a used tahoe which I was assured would have it's broken dash repaired at the time of sale. Not only did this dealership NOT repair the broken dash, they instead glued an aftermarket cover which they assured me was "the best they could do". I was so upset that this LTZ's resale value has now been ruined by a dealer who could honestly care less about customer service. I asked the GM to call me before I posted this review but he could not be bothered. Please, if you want quality or service, look elsewhere.
